ScanSnap S1300i is a complete portable solution. Simply press one scanner button to convert colour or mono single or multi page, double or single sided documents into digital PDF files which you can file, organize, share and email. ScanSnap S1300i can be powered either directly from the laptop's USB port or via an AC adapter, making it ideal for business people on the move - in the car, in client's premises and so forth. The S1300i comes with two versions of ScanSnap Manager, for both Windows and MAC.

Dependent quality and speed requirements, you can chose between different scan modes. The fastest A4 speed is “normal mode” (150 dpi colour/greyscale and 300dpi black & white) at 12 sheets per minute when AC powered; when powered through the USB interface the speed is reduced to 4 sheets per minute.

The automatic feeder holds up to 10 sheets at a time for continuous feeding. Bundled software applications offer various output options. ScanSnap can automatically convert scanned data into searchable PDF files that let you quickly and easily find the scanned data that you are looking for with keyword searches. The powerful ABBYY OCR software allows Excel, Word or PowerPoint (Windows only) output and the bundled CardMinder for Windows or CardIRIS for MAC Software is ideal to efficiently organize business card information. You can also use the new ScanSnap Folder and use the import capability of your application. Additionally ScanSnap links to the most popular Cloud Services. Your documents scanner into Evernote, Dropbox or SugarSync will be replicated in the cloud and on any linked devices. Besides, ScanSnap is the only scanner to offer the capability to scan to your iOS or Android device directly.
